Performance Review:
This sword was a customer’s so I did not do any cutting with it. However I did dry handle it quite a bit. It seemed to be a bit blade heavy. This is to be expected in a sword that is intended as a cavalry weapon. The sword has a thumb ring which allows for some added control allowing the wielder to change direction during the cut.

Appearance:
This is another aesthetically pleasing piece from Armart. The blade was crisp and cleanly executed. The fullers in particular were very nicely done Additionally the welds on the complex guard and thumb ring were invisible. The piece I handled also had a blued guard and pommel and Armart did a fine job with this as well. If one of these swords were available on the secondary market I wouldn’t hesitate to pick it up.

Other: Armart is no longer a functioning business and has not been for quite some time.  Chances are if you were to find one of their palanches on the secondary market it would likely be this exact one!  It would be worth it if you can purchase it.
