Performance Review:
This was a customer’s sword so I could not cut with it. However in dry handling it seemed rather blade-heavy to me, a true chopping sword.
Appearance:
This is an very attractive sword. The brass bolsters and handle accents really make this beautiful leaf blade stand out. It is however, not anything close to being authentic. I think I would call this one “Celtic in Name only” and maybe in general form.
Update:
Kris Cutlery went defunct in 2020 which was a sad day for the industry. However, if you see a KC piece on the secondary market they were decent (especially the Filipino pieces) and worth picking up.
