Performance Review:
This sword handles extremely well for a fantasy piece. The balance point is a little to far out to make it a truly agile piece however it still moves and tracks very well. It also performs very well against light targets.
Appearance:
This sword was designed not just as a performer but also as a work of art. In this it certainly succeeds. It is a beautiful sword, very clean with nothing to mar the finish. The short “fuller” has been left textured and is very well executed.
Update:
Sadly, Rick Barrett is no longer involved in the custom sword or katana world. He still produces eye catching knives. Finding one of his swords today would be unusual and an opportunity not to be passed up.
