Performance Review:
This sword handles remarkably well and to my mind really feels like a sword capable of use in the quick slashing type fighting that
supposedly characterized Viking combat. This is not a heavy crushing sword, but rather a lightning fast cutter. The pommel and cross used
tend to cause the user less pain then some other “Viking” type swords when used with the so called hammer grip. Still this sword is probably
best used with the handshake grip. At least the pommel is not undersized as it is on some other “Viking” models produced by various
manufacturers.

Appearance:
This is a very pretty sword as are most (all) of Albion’s efforts. The fit and finish on the particular piece were superb. The grip was
up to Albions usual fantastic standards, the blade was clean without a ripple or girnd mark anywhere. The hilt furniture was free of
imperfections and the pommel which wonder if wonders is actually of two piece construction (unlike basically every other “Viking” sword
available in the current production market) was attractively put together with historically accurate rivets and wire. All in all this sword
is a fantastic aesthetic effort from Albion.

Conclusion:
This sword is up to Albion’s usual high standards. It is pleasing in both performance and aesthetic and is definitely recommended if one is
in the market for a “Viking” style sword.
