Performance Review:
This sword is billed as a Bastard sword but in my opinion is really a two-hander. It is rather heavy in the 4 to 5 lb range. However it is balanced well enough not to notice this at least with two-handed use. This sword performs very well against hard targets. The sword that was the subject of this review was purchased about six years ago. Since that time Arms and Armor have upgraded the blade and it is my understanding that the sword is even more manageable now.
Appearance:
As with most of A&A;’s work this sword is gorgeous. Its rounded pommel and twisted “writhen” type 12 guard are exceptional.
