Performance Review: This sword handles decently with one hand and really excels when used with two hands. The unusual V1 variant pommel helps to lock the second hand in place and the partially wire wrapped grip is easy to hold on to. The sword is very easy to swing and the point tracks very nicely as well.

Appearance: In this sword I had at last found a Cervnka sword where the maker actually took the time to insure that the blade was as cleanly executed as the hilt furniture. This sword did not exhibit any of the roughness that I had seen on other Cervenka swords but was instead cleanly ground and mirror polished. There is a motto engraved into the surface of this particular sword and the lettering is well defined, and evenly spaced. The cross, and pommel as well as the handle wrap show Mr. Cervenka's unquestionable skill all are nicely built and tight.

Conclusion: In other reviews I noted that Mr. Cervenka was a good craftsman who if was to spend a little more time could really show us great things. This sword exhibits what he can do if he spends the extra time to do the finish work. This is a very nice piece.
