Performance Review: Del Tin designs their swords as blunt reenacting pieces and as such many of their swords are slightly overweight. The performance of the swords often suffers to a greater or lesser degree due to this weight penalty. Unfortunately this sword is no exception. I had really intended to keep this sword in my personal collection but due to the poor handling characteristics decided to pass it on to someone who would appreciate it more.

Appearance: Once again Del Tin does a fine job in the aesthetic department. This is a very nice looking sword, just the sort of thing that one would expect to see on the hip of a noble in medieval times. The fit and finish were excellent from blade to pommel.

Conclusion: This sword excells for what it was designed to do. It looks good and is perfect for the reenactor. However it is definitely not a performance product.
